International Cambridge Curriculum

The Cambridge international curriculum offers a variety of qualification options to help students with a wide range of skills and abilities to achieve success in their academic lives, including those whose first language is not English.

The Cambridge Primary curriculum focuses on the subjects of English / English as a second language, Mathematics and Science. It is a flexible curriculum, but with clear learning objectives and an integrated assessment, which helps to check student development and give feedback to parents.

Cambridge IGCSE offers 70 subjects that can be taken in any combination. It is the most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds and is recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide. This curriculum allows students to develop their skills in working and communicating in English as well as becoming more flexible and responsive to change and more culturally aware.

Cambridge International A Level has been developed to prepare students for university study, which is why universities worldwide value and recognise this qualification. There is a choice of 55 subjects which can be offered in almost any combination, meaning that students can choose to specialise in a particular subject area or study a range of subjects.

As the coordinator for the International Curriculum at the International Atlantic School, it is my goal to make sure that, through the Cambridge international curriculum, we help students improve their performance by developing skills in creative & critical thinking and problem solving. We believe that by offering this curriculum we prepare students for life,  helping them to develop an informed curiosity and lasting passion for learning. It has been designed to challenge students and to get them excited about learning. That is our main goal. That is what we offer. We hope that you can join us on this journey and together maximize your potential for success!
